Hatta, located near the Oman Boarder, under the Government of Dubai. If you
want to spend some time calmly with your loved once or with your friends, then

Hatta can be reached by travelling 120km from Sharjah. It
might take one and hour to reach there, if you go through Sharjah-Maliha road
via E102 exit.
There are three main attractions are there.
Hatta
Dam
Hatta dam, which is a feast to eye, is the main attraction in
Hatta. Drive your car along the dam, hike a bit between photo stops and spend
some time soaking up the natural beauty of the mountainous area. We can see so
many pedal boats & kayaks for the tourists. On the pedal boat, two adults
and two children will be charged AED 120 per hour while they charge AED 60 for
one person to use kayak. You ought to visit this finest dam in UAE.
Hatta
Heritage Village
After experiencing the beauty of Hatta dam, we can go to
Hatta Heritage Village which has been opened its restoration in 2001. The
village is located in the heart of Hatta Mountainous area within the emirate of
Dubai.
We can witness the life styles of ancient people, the history of the
fort, houses, war strategies, weapons etc. It is opened, from Saturday to
Thursday, from 8 am to 8 pm and on Friday, it’s opened from 2;30 pm to 8 pm.
Hill
Park
You can reach the hill park from heritage village, if you
take a five minutes’ drive. Playground for children, Handball Court, Synthetic
Track for Joggers, Multiplex Sports Court, Special Areas for Bar b q, Watch
Tower etc., these are the main facilities you can avail there.
Although there
is a Swimming Pool, it is made for UAE citizens. Timing of the hill park is
from 8 am to 11 pm, however it closes at 12 midnight on public holidays.
You can definitely plan a trip with your friends or with you
family. Entry fee is absolutely free in all places.
